Position: Direct Support Worker
Location: Falmouth, Portland, Scarborough

Position: Residential Support Worker
Location: Auburn
Description: These direct care positions provide assistance with daily housekeeping, medication administration and other aspects of personal care to residents. Responsible for accurate Implementation and documentation of all care/rehabilitation plans to residents. Duties require significant levels of assistance with all areas of activities of daily living including hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, diet/nutrition management, feeding, budgeting, & personal safety skills. Must be able to demonstrate consistency, set limits appropriately and deal with crisis situations.


Position: Residential Support Worker - MHRT
Location: Portland

Location: Auburn

Directly supervises the administration and delivery of services for multiple residential/day programs, serving the needs of Developmentally Disabled individuals in a specified region.  Provides direct supervision to Team Managers and Assistant Team Managers.  Monitors overall program development and the coordination of services.

Position: Team Leader
Location: Portland, Auburn (3 Positions)

Assists Program Manager in overseeing residential support program for adult(s) with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness in the Greater Portland area. Participates in the hiring, training and scheduling of direct support professionals. Monitors consumer accounts, files, medical needs, etc. Shares On-call responsibilities for program.

Program: Greentree Girls Program Arlington
Description:  The Advocate provides a clean, safe and nurturing environment that will assist adolescents acquire the skills necessary to successfully transition to a less restrictive setting or potentially leading to their living independently.  The Advocate will organize and facilitate all stages of the treatment process, by implementing interventions that assure client goals are met.  The Advocate plays a key role in coordinating all of the care for the adolescent and her/his family. 

 

Position: Awake Overnight Direct Care Worker FT
Programs: Florence House Worcester and Greentree Girls Program Arlington
Description: The Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff will participate in all stages of the treatment process by implementing interventions that assure client goals are met.  They will also provide a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that will assist clients with the skills necessary to succeed.

Program: Wellesley Administrative Office
Description: The Receptionist will be responsible for providing office and clerical services in order to ensure that office functions are effective and efficient.  Additionally, the Receptionist will provide part time support to the Chief Operating Officer of the corporation.

Position:  Assistant Program Manager  FT
Program:  Lutheran Creative Living - Andover
Description:  The Assistant Program Manager will provide support, assistance, and instruction to individuals in areas that facilitate their growth toward self-sufficiency.  He/She provides leadership and program supervision as directed in order to assure quality service delivery and positive individual and programmatic outcomes in accordance with Individual Service Plans and program strategic plans. 

Position: Agriculture Specialist Temporary FT
Program: Immigrant and Refugee Agriculture Program
Description:  The Agriculture Specialist coordinates all aspects of the Immigrant and Refugee Agriculture Program (IMMAG) at Lutheran Social Services in Westfield and West Springfield.  The Agriculture Specialist must plan and coordinate development and growth of IMMAG’s initiative, work with partnering agencies, refugee farmers, and farmer markets. 
This is a full time temporary position.  The position will last for twelve (12) weeks.  The rate of pay is $15.00 per hour.  Starting immediately.

Position: Elder Care Managers FT/PT
Program: LSS Elder Care Management- Brockton
Description: The Elder Care Manager will conduct care plan assessments.  The Elder Care Manager will arrange and monitor in-home services, review financial, legal, and medical issues and offer referrals to specialists.  They will also act as a liaison to families who live at a distance overseeing care and quickly alerting families to concerns.  The Elder Care Manager will also provide consumer education and advocacy and facilitate support, individual therapy, finance management, and guardianship assistance.

Position: Personal Care Homemaker Per Diem
Program: LSS Elder Care Management- Various Locations
Description: The Personal Care Homemaker will assist clients with personal care services.  They will also perform household services.  The Personal Care Homemaker will also observe and document the care provided to the client.

Position: LPN Per Diem
Program: Emmanuel House Residence - Brockton
Description: The LPN will assess residents for need of LMA.  He/she will maintain documentation of service plans, resident records, medication orders, and medical administration.  He/she will participate in service plan reviews.  The LPN will also conduct resident screenings, visits, and assessments.  Must have current LPN license for Mass in good standing.  Must be LPN licensed for a minimum of two years.  Experience working in a clinical setting with the elderly.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position: Cook/Dietary Aide FT/PT
Program: Emmanuel House Residence- Brockton
Description: The Cook/Dietary Aide must prepare food in accordance with standards, guidelines, and regulations.  He/she must provide dietary services to residents in the dining room and in resident apartments as needed.  Must maintain safe and sanitary procedures within the department.  Assist in instructing and training of new employees.  Assist with in-house functions as needed.  Must be able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs.  The ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Position: Maintenance Director FT
Program: Lutheran Healthcare Center of Worcester
Description: Our center will be undergoing a major renovation and expansion project in 2009.  The Maintenance Director manages and directs the maintenance operations.  The Maintenance Director works closely with the General Contractor and various sub contractors during the construction process.  Must possess a strong working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.  Previous long-term care maintenance experience required. 

Position: Director of Nurses FT
Program: Lutheran Healthcare Center of Worcester
Description: The Director of Nurses must be skilled in directing, motivating and training staff.  Must be able to organize and prioritize.  Hands on working knowledge of state and federal long term care regulations and the D.P.H. survey process is required.  Knowledge of J.C.A.H.O. standards and guidelines is preferred.  Must have at least seven years of experience in nursing with two years as a nursing supervisor in the long term setting.  Must have a valid Massachusetts RN license and CPR certification.  BSN preferred.

Description: Oversees the provision of in-home support services to over 400 older adults and persons with chronic illness throughout New Hampshire.  Provides philosophical and practical leadership in the design and implementation of services, and demonstrates commitment to community based and consumer directed services.  Responsible for the day to day operation of the program and its services, including, provision of services, hiring and supervision of staff, budget preparation and monitoring, contract management, promotion of the program to constituents and development of new programs within the service line.

LSS' Language Bank is looking for a scheduler.  This person will call interpreters and offer assignments.  They will be responsible for follow-up calls to remind the interpreters of appointments, to maintain the database and to answer phone calls for Language Bank.  This position includes clerical support for the Language Bank
