Interfaith Refugee Resettlement Program (IRRP)
Welcoming New Neighbors
Job development
The IRRP job developer provides employable refugees an orientation to employment in the U.S., identifies potential jobs, accompanies them or arranges transportation for job interviews or job training. Job developers try to place refugees in jobs, when possible, above minimum wage with benefits.
Follow-up support and counseling is on-going after the person becomes employed. Priority is given to new arrivals in the refugee program. Asylees and secondary migrants may also be eligible for services depending on availability of services. Please contact Tanya at tdumont@lssne.org or more information.
